Runny Poo

Hello Everyone,

 

My great dane pup will be 12 weeks old tomorrow and he is suffering with runny poo. Its a bit intermittent, some times its really runny and others not. (sorry for graphic info) He is fed a royal cannin kibble mince, chicken, (chicken legs for bone) 3 meals a day. I have tried him on just kibble for a few days but that didn't make any difference and he kind of stopped eating. The vet said it should run it course. He has been wormed and is other wise a fit and naughty healthy pup!

 

Any advise  would be welcome.

               Sorry to hear your pup has tummy issues...As the vet said I'm sure it will run it's course....We have had our Harlequin for 18 months and have struggled to get really firm poos...

Sometimes we think we have nailed it and he goes back to soft stools....we have tried raw and various kibbles

 

We feed a can of Chappie original for breakfast then Arden Grange sensitive white fish and potato for his midday and evening meals

 

Good luck as it is a bit of a trial and error scenario

Has his diet been changed recently since he came to you at all?
