Most Popular Colour?

I used to think that fawn danes were the most common, or most popular?? whichever way you look at it.

but it doesnt seem so now-

at last years mablethorpe holiday there must have been around 40+ danes in total, and there were only two fawns- Horace and Lola (bug).

There were mainly blacks with or without some white on

and alot of merles.

where we live too, there are many blacks and merles.

What do you think?
 
I see lots of blues and blacks, a few merles and fawns, the odd harlie and i have never been out with or without the dogs and met another mantle! Not all that sure why it just seems to be the trend? x

And not met any brindles either (i love brindles!!!) Are the other colours hiding? x
 
Over the years I've had the honor of owning 2 blues a fawn a black and now have a merle, I think blue is my most favourite but to many sad memories to ever have another.

Although saying that all colours are stunning just because they are Danes

Used be lots of Fawns..[many years ago] But I think the 'trend' has turned toward  Harlies and Merles..

See a load more of them now..

My favourite colour used to be Blue but I'm erring on the side of Mantle and Brindle now..

HMMMM a Brindle with a lovely black mask..........

I see a lot of blacks and blues. I have to say that Brindles seem far an few between and are very adorable.

i think merels n blues are really popular just now

i have 3 brindles if anyone wants one lol

I tend to agree that blues seem really popular just now.  There seem to have been a lot of people on here more recently who have said they are getting a blue puppy.

I love fawns and brindles the best myself and would love to have another brindle, but I do worry about the health of that colour.  Maybe next time I'll go for a black-bred black.

In our neck of the woods I would say that the Blues are BY FAR the most common of all.

When out walking with ours (blue, fawn and Harly) we often get the impression that people don't even know that Danes come in colours other than blue and maybe black.

Have seen the odd merle, but never a brindle or mantle (aside from Barbara's Hector when they came down to Primrose Hill for the day last summer).

I love them all!! Xana is my second harley, but I think they are all stunning, the shine of the blacks, the lovely blue eyes, fawns look so elegant, mantel adorable I would have one of each if I could

Must admit like Enzo I have a thing for fawns lol

Think in my case it is a Jeeves thing, but I do love all colours.

I think there are a lot of merles and Harlies around on the street at the mo but if you go to the shows it still seems to be mainly fawns, it it always amazes me how many different shades of fawn there are as well from the really light fawns to the lovely deep sandy colours.
