Once again, I am glad that we can agree to disagree on all things great and small, for this is what discussion is all about, I would honestly love to talk about this all night, but eyes shutting after trying to keep up with the art work, and work early in the morning, its off to bed till god knows when I will get back on the Forum.
It was at the dog show in Edinburgh that Jelly caught it, she was well up to date with the jabs, at first I thought it was some thing caught in her throat that she might have been playing with, it got so bad that she was being sick all over the place and bringing up all kinds of things, she was suffering with pain and discomfort, I put my head to her chest and could hear wheezing in between the coughs, I took her to the vet, and yes I was lucky if that's what anyone would like to say, poor we darling had got an infection, I knew not to take her right into the vets and kept her in the car for him to examine, some of us are lucky, and some are not, like many on the Forum, I am insured, I used my insurance to take away her discomfort , but I new without a doubt in my mind that on returning home with her, Oscar was going to be next, I bought another batch for him on the ready, sure as I new it, bang it hit him, he is known for his ear nose and throat problems, but like Jelly, right to the chest with it, and even with the medicine, I lay with him for nights and nights, didn't go to work and stayed with him, constantly giving his chest a bump to help him up with the flem, some dogs can just sale through life without a scratch and others get hit like a bus when they get ill, every one I know on this Forum would take their right arm off for their dogs, and take care of them in their own ways with love and affection, this way with me, is my way of affection for my dogs, I would love and take care of my dogs as if they were my children, if I am in the slightest doubt, I will not spare the whip or the rains for my babies, but that's one way out of a thousand to how we each individually love our great beasts, what had scared me was, I knew of a kennel who not only lost all there own dogs in one go over 7 weeks, but the others who were in their care. In my case, I guess this just scared the shit out of me, my mate who is a vet told me it takes more than one or two courses of AB s to nacker the immune system, so what the hell we do what we do,
All the best till I se you again
