Foot �Growth�

Evening all, my 3 year old Dane developed around 12 weeks ago a lump on his foot what I can only describe as looking like a wart. Over the past many weeks it has got bigger and bigger and has now gone red and developed into growth of some sort. It does not bother him from what I can tell, no licking chewing or limping at all. Still enjoying his life, playing none stop and eating like a goat. Hopefully the image has uploaded and someone can give me a clue as to what it is! As always I stop by here first to consult the experts but have no hesitation in going to the dreaded vets..Reggie hates floors that are not carpeted and therefore going to vets is an ordeal to say the least. Any advice much appreciated before I bite the bullet and don a crash helmet for a vet trip...
